Heritage Baseball Club Hosting A ‘Sports Summit’
Heritage Baseball Club is hosting a Sports Summit on Saturday, March 3, 2012 to offer coaches and parents focused training with local and national coaches and athletes. Thompson Station Church will help in this effort to meet the needs of our growing community.
Basketball – Jeremy Moore (Indy HS) & TBA
Football – George Quarles (Maryville HS), Rocky Calmus (Titans)
Baseball –Marty McCleary (Pittsburgh Pirates)
Softball – Jerry Walling
Volleyball – TBA
Soccer – Eric Shelton (Seige HS)
The event is FREE but they are asking you to bring any old sports equipment that you could donate. This equipment will be used to promote sports throughout several third world countries.
While mom and dad learn about coaching and parenting student athletes in football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, or softball, athletes will practice fundamentals to develop strength, speed and agility with local sports trainers. The keynote speaker for this afternoon will be renowned Atlanta Braves First Basemen, Sid Bream
