Spring Hill Public Library Gets New Computers!!

[ 0 ] March 6, 2012 |

The Spring Hill Library has new computers and the Library will be closed on Friday, March 9 to switch over from old to new.

The computers will ready for use by the public and staff on Saturday morning. They are partially funded with a LSTA (Library Service and Technology) grant.

Director Alan Couch said, “They will be Core powered by a Core I-5 Intel processor with 4 GB of ddr3 ram running Windows 7 pro.

Many of our computers were 10 years old and couldn’t run Windows 7 so we believe we’ll see a big leap in performance, allowing for faster service from our staff and faster surfing by our patrons on the public access pc’s.”

The Spring Hill Public Library is located at 144 Kedron Pkwy. in Spring Hill. The Library serves all those that live and work in either Maury or Williamson County.

The library offers books, audio books, movies, WiFi, computer usage, research internet databases, and is a great place to connect with others in the community. For more information you can call 931-486-2932 or go to
