Spring Hill Public Library May Artist-Sue Ellen Brown
Ever wonder who designs McDonald Happy Meals or gift wrap or a child’s book cover? You can meet and see the work of an artist who has done all that.
Sue Ellen Brown, coming to Spring Hill from Birmingham, AL, will have her work on display throughout the month of May at the Spring Hill Public Library and she’ll have a free workshop at the end of the month.
Sue Ellen has been both a commercial and fine artist for over twenty years. She started out studying classic painting techniques but her first job out of college as a staff artist dropped her in the graphic art world, working for Hallmark.
She’s also illustrated children’s books for many publishers, including Macmillan’s and created promotional material for clients like McDonald’s, Pepsi, & Denny’s.
Her artwork is a range of graphic, impressionistic, & illustrative.
You can take an art class with her on Tuesday, May 29, at 4:30 p.m. at the Library.
The Spring Hill Public Library is located at 144 Kedron Pkwy. in Spring Hill. The Library serves all those that live and work in either Maury or Williamson County.
The library offers books, audio books, movies, WiFi, computer usage, research internet databases, and is a great place to connect with others in the community. For more information you can call 931-486-2932 or go to www.springhilllibrary.org.
