Make A Book Report Sandwich!

At Tutor Doctor we are always looking to find creative ideas to help making learning fun!

Want to make summer reading more “appetizing”?   How’s about having your child make a sandwich book report.

This will engage your child in a creative activity that puts numerous skills to use, including comprehension, writing, time sequencing, etc.

This sandwich book report project is divided into 7 writing sections:

  1. Top Layer of Bread: Title, author, genre, student name, date, and illustration 
  2. Tomato: Setting
  3. Onion: Characters
  4. Lettuce: Problem
  5. Cheese: Story Climax
  6. Meat: Solution and Conclusion
  7. Bottom Layer of Bread: My Favorite Part and Illustration
