Local Fundraising Efforts Underway To Support Brayden
We posted a recent story on the sad news one of our local families received regarding their 12 year old son Brayden Byrd.
Here is an update on his status from his mother, Liberty Byrd.
“Today we met with the Oncologists to discuss what Brayden’s treatment will look like. He will be admitted next Friday to have his port placed and begin his first round of treatment. The treatments will be very aggressive and he will have to be admitted for 5 days at a time. He will have a total of 17 rounds over the next 8 months(minimum). We have a long road ahead of us but I know the Lord will see us through. Brayden is being so brave and has such a great attitude. I am so proud of him! Please continue to pray for him. Thank you.”
In an effort to pull together and help the Brayden and his family, there are several fundraising going on right now. Here are some of them. Please take action and show your support!

Feel free to call or text Sarah Nichols 615-533-9968. If you can’t come out and enjoy some lemonade with us please remember you can make a donation at any SunTrust Bank to The Brayden Byrd Benefit Fund, and will go towards the families unexpected medical costs due to a high insurance deductible, travel expenses for Brayden’s care, his food and supplements as his dietary needs are quite strict, and other unforeseen cost due to his sudden, unexpected illness. Please join us in praying for this family and supporting them as members of our community as well as the Body of Christ.
