April Lee’s, 3rd-5th grade guidance classes are learning about goal-setting and talking about study skills. Kindergarten-2nd graders are learning about cooperation in different ways: Kindergarten is working in small groups, 1st graders are playing Sneetch ball (from the story “The Sneetches”), and 2nd graders are working together to pull up a giant turnip (from the story, “The Enormous Turnip”).
In preparation for learning to play recorders in Rachel Ratajeski’s music classes, 5th graders are reviewing notes and rhythm.
Karen Waddell’s Kindergarten class will be composing and decomposing sets 6-10 and learning to write numbers 6-10 in math.
