Independence High School Updates

Cross country season concluded this weekend at the state championship as the boys team finished 9^th overall and the girls team finished 12^th overall.

Lizzy Kroeger was named All-State, marking the tenth time in school history we have had an all-state performance in cross country. Lizzy finished 11^th in the state.

In addition, three of our runners have been named All-Midstate: Lizzy, Micah Howard and Justin Barnard. This also marks the third consecutive year that the boys team has finished in the state’s top ten.
