On Saturday, December 8th from 10 am to 4 pm, the Spring Hill FRESH offices will be transformed into a wonderful holiday memory making destination!
The Spirit of Goodwill…a giving and receiving event is designed to encourage the community to bring food for Christmas Baskets the Well Food Pantry will be collecting to help serve local families in need. It will also be a toy/gift collection point for local children who have been identified by our schools needing help for Christmas gifts and whose names and needs have been submitted for sponsorship through the Spring Hill Police Department “Giving Tree’ program.
This event promises to be a fun holiday memory experience for the giver and for the receiver!
Riverbend Nurseries will set up a Christmas tree lot with fresh cut trees and anyone who brings food baskets or brings toys/gifts for a child through the Spring Hill Police Department “Giving Tree’ program, will receive a discount on the purchase of their tree! There will also be fresh wreaths and Poinsettias available for purchase.
That’s not all though! The event will provide family fun for those who come to give. We will have Santa & Mrs.Claus there for story time, Magic Wayne’s Christmas Magic Show, Live Christmas caroling, Bounce Houses, free Hot Cocoa, Popcorn, Christmas Candy, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cotton Candy, and more!

About the Giving Tree Program
When you donate an item to the Giving Tree, you are providing a child in Spring Hill with the specific gift that child has asked to receive for Christmas, as well as needed clothing and shoes. All participating children are students of Spring Hill schools; therefore your donation stays in your community!
Gift requests will be posted at the entrance of City Hall, the Police Department at the lower level of City Hall, Walgreens at Port Royal Rd, and at Spring Hill FRESH.
Choose a request card from the board, sign it out, purchase the item and return it, unwrapped, to the Police Department OR the Spirit of Goodwill event Dec. 8th at Spring Hill FRESH with the card.
We also accept monetary donations which are used to purchase items that are not donated.
The deadline to have donations turned in is December 8th. Distribution will be December 13th through the 15th. Please contact Dawn McDaniel, (931)486-2252 x244 with questions.
