Arts In Action Elects Officers And Plans Events
Arts in Action is an advocacy group for the arts. “We are a highly productive nonprofit organization partnering with local businesses, government agencies, schools, and non-profits to promote the arts”, stated Sonjalyn Dickson Rine, Communication Director for the group.
Arts In Action has formed partnerships with several businesses and community groups in order to produce a variety of exciting projects for 2013. Arts In Action is working with Columbia Main Street on the Riverwalk Banner Project; Pet Pals of Maury County and Arts in Action are presenting the inaugural First Farmers and Merchants Chalk Art Street Festival; And Arts In Action, Friends of Maury County Parks and Maury County Parks & recreation are planning Art Avalanche, a family friendly art experience.
