Longview Elementary School’s Social Studies teacher, Mr. Roberson sent 6 local winners to the Chapter Level of the DAR Essay 
Contest in December. They are proud to announce that Ryan Rager-Aguiar’s essay won the Chapter Level and will be sent on to the next phase of the competition.
Grey Deyo, came in a “very close second” with his essay. The students were to write about the unsung heros from the Revolutionary War. Ryan Rager-Aguiar will be acknowledged in the school assembly on Friday by Ginger Manley from the Old Glory DAR Chapter.
