Arts In Action and First Farmers And Merchants Bank Offer A Gaze Into The Creative Process

Arts A “Live” will be presented each Friday in February, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the lobby of the First Farmers and Merchants Bank’s Main Office, located at 816 South Garden Street in Columbia. “This event offers a unique glimpse into the creative process” said, Sonjalyn Dickson Rine, Communication Director for Arts In Action. Professional artist and art student will create original works of art “Live” before your eyes! Harvey Church, Maury County President, First Farmers and Merchant Bank stated, “First Farmers and Merchants Bank is very interested in promoting the arts in our community. Our region is so full of talented artist with extraordinary abilities.”

The public is invited to come meet the local artist and watch as a masterpiece is created. Guests are encouraged to ask the artist questions and explore their own creativity. Original works of art will be sold in the bank lobby with proceeds going to benefit local artist and the local art community. Church said, “First Farmers and Merchants Bank is pleased to advance and increase the awareness of the arts in our community and to support Arts In Action, a new arts advocacy organization”.
