12th Annual Taste Of Spring Hill
TO BE HELD ON FRIDAY April 12, 2013
Food and Wine Tasting Event will Benefit Spring Hill’s Local Community Theatre
On Friday, April 12, Old School Theatre will host its annual fundraiser and celebration of the Spring Hill Community along with event sponsor TriStar ER Spring Hill. The 12th annual Taste of Spring Hill will be held at the Local United Auto Workers 1853 Ballroom from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
With the purchase of a ticket, guests are invited to enjoy samples of snacks, entrees and desserts from local eateries, such as, YaYa’s Bakery and Café, Kroger Marketplace, Grecian Pizzeria, Gigi’s Cupcakes, Truelove’s Pizza and Grits, Buffalo Wild Wings, Tito’s, Samboli’s, and a variety of wines from around the world which will be facilitated by Station Wine and Spirits.
Local musicians will provide entertainment throughout the evening as guests can walk around and bid on goods and services that have been donated by businesses in the Spring Hill community. This year, those items include golf packages from local golf courses, Titans memorabilia, artwork from local artists, tax preparation services, Scentsy baskets, iPhone/iPod repair services, custom-made jewelry, massage gift cards, and many other wonderful donations.
Laura Holderman, Old School Theatre’s board president commented, “The population of Spring Hill grew 276% between the years of 2000 and 2010. As a result of that quick expansion, our community has culture that is deeply rooted in the traditions of many regions of the country and even the world. The Taste of Spring Hill event and Old School Theatre strive to celebrate the creativity of our diverse population by inviting local restaurants, shops, service providers, artists and musicians to share their talents for a good cause. We are also proud to be partnering with TriStar ER Spring Hill for this year’s event as they are fulfilling a need for emergency healthcare in our community.”
Additional community support for Taste of Spring Hill has been provided by Ole South Properties and First Farmers & Merchants Bank.
