The class will cover the basics from selecting supplies to mixing colors and values to completing an oil painting.

“We are all artists,” says Susan Jones, class instructor, “it’s just about finding your favorite medium, and if it’s paint then I can teach you a few techniques and, voila. You’ve learned to paint. Nothing is more fulfilling than to see the joy on a student’s face when he or she is proud of their Masterpiece.”

The class will meet from 6pm to 9pm on April 3, 10, 17, and 24. The cost is $140 and a portion of the proceeds benefit “Friends of Maury County Parks.” Space is limited.

A list of needed supplies will be furnished upon registration and items may be purchased at area retailers or a discounted kit of supplies is available through Jerry’s Artarama-Antioch.

To reserve your easel, please call Susan at 615-216-5907.
