Line Dancing, Music, Food, And Fun At Kiwanis Family Barn Dance

Enjoy line dancing, country music, food, and fun at the Kiwanis Club of Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station barn dance for families and individuals of all ages on Saturday, April 27 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the Ring Farm, 2628 Greens Mill Road, Columbia, TN 38401 (just 7 miles southwest from the Kroger on Port Royal).  The cost is only $5 per person – cash please.  A wristband is required for all attendees, which they will receive as they arrive.

Inside the beautiful barn, attendees will find live music, line dancing instruction, and food for purchase.    The instructors will teach fun, yet simple line dances, such as the electric slide, wobble, and Cajun thing.  Joel and LeAnne Ulmer, husband/wife country music duo “2Country4Nashville”, will provide their style of country music.  This up-and-coming, very entertaining duo performs at Tito’s and Amigos in Spring Hill, Puckett’s in Leiper’s Fork, and many places in Franklin.

Food will be available for purchase.  Applebee’s is the major food sponsor providing the ingredients for a taco bar and dessert.  Kentucky Fried Chicken is providing chicken and sides.  Attendees will have access to the playground area, including two 40-foot slides, tube tunnels, areas to climb and jump, swings, and plenty of room for children to run and play.  There is ample outdoor seating for those who want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The Kiwanis Club members have been thinking about having a family dance for a few years.  “After three very successful father-daughter dances, we want to expand the fun to the entire family,” said Bridget Ward, Club President.  Individuals of all ages are invited to attend.  There will be activities for all interests.

Thank you to Gateway Mortgage Group for being the Title Sponsor.  Other sponsors include BMB Properties, and The Advertiser News.
