Help Keep Williamson County Clean and Safe By Properly Disposing of Your Household Hazardous Waste Williamson County will be hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event Saturday, May 4, at 1320 West Main street, Franklin, from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Show your support for keeping Tennessee clean by properly disposing of your household hazardous waste.
All households are encouraged to participate by gathering old cleaners, fuels, pesticides, etc. HHW is any unwanted or spent household product that can catch fire easily (flammable), eat away at or irritate living tissue (corrosive), react violently with water or other chemicals (reactive), or is poisonous to humans and animals (toxic).
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office will be on hand to collect expired and unwanted prescription medication. It is recommended to remove personal information from the prescription bottles or packages prior to arriving at the collection site. Medications collected will be disposed of legally and safely by the Sheriff’s Office.
