Basic Acrylic Painting for Kids at aMuse’um Children’s Museum

artclassaMuse’um Children’s Museum located in historic, downtown Columbia at 123 West 7th Street, will be offering “Mini-Monet: Basic Acrylic Painting for Kids,” ages 7-11, taught by local artist Susan E Jones beginning May 2.

Classes will meet for one afternoon a week from 3:30 to 4:45pm on May 2, 9, 16, and 23. There is no class scheduled for May 30. The Mini-Monet classes will cover the basics from mixing colors and values to completing your very own masterpiece. No prior experience necessary.

The fee is $80 and a portion of the proceeds benefit aMuse’um Children’s Museum. A supplies list will be provided upon registration, and pre-made supply kits are available at a discount through Jerry’s Artarama-Antioch. Easels will be provided during the classes.
