Our Spring Hill Farmers Market is in full swing. We offer a wide variety of garden fresh vegetables; canned goods; fresh baked goods; free-range, grass-fed meats and locally handcrafted items.
The Farmers Market is from 3 7 p.m. every Thursday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays at Harvey Park. Each month the farmers market contributes to a local charity.
May’s charity of the month was The Well Outreach, to which the Farmers Market contributed over $300 to provide food for local families in need.
“The Well Outreach is so thankful for the funds donated from the Spring Hill Farmers Market,” said Arica Robinson, with The Well Outreach. “Summer is a slow time for fundraising and food donations, so this money will be so helpful in providing food for families in need this summer. We enjoyed meeting the community and vendors at the Spring Hill Farmers Market. It was an atmosphere of fun, family, and lots of great products. If you’re interested in serving The Well, we would love to hear from you.”
The Spring Hill Farmers Market will be giving a portion of the proceeds made for the month of June to the local Spring Hill Children’s Home. When you shop at the Spring Hill Farmers Market not only are you supporting local farmers, bakers and artisans, you are helping those in need.
