A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Event Navigation
Event Description
The Nashville Shakespeare Festival continues its 30th anniversary season with a celebratory production of Shakespeare’s classic comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” This magical play, directed by Jaclynn Jutting, explores the duality of love and asks, if we are in love, are we ever in control? The show runs Aug. 9-Sept. 9 in Centennial Park!
Come, bring a blanket or chairs, the whole family (even the dog!), some snacks, or buy from the delicious local food trucks, and enjoy the show!! Shakespeare in the Park has always been FREE, but we encourage a $10 donation to help cover our costs.
Want to see the show like a VIP – or “Royalty?” The buy a Royal Package, which includes reserved parking, a comfy seat (on stage even, if you’re brave!) and a gourmet picnic dinner from Bacon And Caviar Catering – all for just $75!
The nightly schedule:
6:00pm – Talking Shakespeare Lecture Series
6:00pm – Food Trucks and Vendors open
