Event Description

Local homeschool community support group, Spring Hill Area Parent Educators (SHAPE), is hosting its 8th annual Back-To-School Carnival on Wednesday, Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Evans Park in Spring Hill. With over 350 people attending in 2017, this event continues to be the most popular annual event hosted by the group each year.

The carnival is fun for the whole family, featuring games and prizes, balloon creations, a Back-To-School Photo Booth, various activity stations hosted by local businesses, and Spring Hill Police and Fire vehicles. Mayberry’s Italian Ice will also be on hand serving up cool treats.

Member families may attend this event at no cost for admission, and non-member families are asked to pay just $5 per family for admission. Non-member families can also register with SHAPE at this event and learn more about the group itself as well.  All families are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy together following the event at the park.
