Event Description
PLEASE NOTE – THE APRIL 12 CLASS IS A PRIVATE CLASS. PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE JUNE 2 OR AUGUST 4 COMMUNITY CPR CLASS.
Organized by the GFWC Spring Station Woman’s Club and taught by instructors from the Spring Hill Fire Department: Family & Friends CPR
The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need an American Heart Association course completion card in CPR (i.e. – the card signed by the instructor for a healthcare BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR class) for their job. There is a punch-out card on the back of the instruction manual. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
