Event Description

Because of their shared mission of service to the community, St. Philip Catholic Church and Mercy Community Healthcare will host their second annual Community Health Fair from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018. The health fair will be held at St. Philip Catholic Church, 113 Second Avenue S. in downtown Franklin.

Attendees will be able to receive a number of free medical checks during the fair, including a blood pressure check, body mass index measurement, glucose test, spinal screening as well as a school sports physical. This event is free, and all faiths are welcome. Services offered will be available to all, including those who are insured, uninsured, underinsured or who must limit their medical care due to out of pocket expenses.

Many other community agencies and service providers will be available to answer questions about a variety of topics including eye care, chiropractic care, speech therapy, assisted living options, immigration services and more. In addition, the Franklin Fire Department will be on-site providing free car seat safety checks.
