Fall Photography Contest Rules and Guidelines

All photos must be taken inside the city limits of Columbia. Photos taken outside of city limits will not be considered. Photographs must be clear of watermarks or logo branding. Submit your photographs to cwalls@columbiatn.com. The categories are:

1.    Recreation Activities – Share your favorite ways to Explore, Connect and Play in the City of Columbia. With recreation facilities, parks and programs offered by the City–we make recreation easy!

2.    Wildlife/ Pets – Showcase the best in scenic beauty of nature and wildlife found in Columbia. Pets – Whether they have scales, feathers, fur, paws or claws – share your favorite pictures, we want to see the pets of Columbia!

3.    Cityscapes & Architecture -A blend of modern and historic, Columbia has a mix of beautiful homes, architecture, and buildings. Here’s your chance to show off some of the infrastructure and landmarks that give our community its aesthetic character.

4.    City Parks & Nature – From wide-open spaces, rivers and trails, to our cozy city streets shaded by tree cover of ever-changing hues, the bounty of our environment enriches life in Columbia. Showcase the breathtaking scenery and natural wonders that make Columbia truly special. Show your appreciation of the natural beauty we have right outside our doorsteps. Capture the enchanting beauty of Columbia through captivating landscape photography. Showcase the breathtaking scenery and natural wonders that make Columbia truly special.

LIMIT TO 1 photograph submission per person

• Will be judged by a panel and contest entries will be judged on overall quality, creativity, and how well the photograph portrays Columbia
• The winner will be announced on November 17, a gift card to Copy Cats, and will be on display at the Visit Columbia, TN & Welcome Center for 2 weeks after the contest. Will be posted on Facebook page
