Event Description

Fort Hill stands as a silent sentinel overlooking what once was the bustling Federal supply depot at Johnsonville during the Civil War. Travel through time to find out how this spot got its name and find out what role it played during the Civil War Battle of Johnsonville. Join us to explore the natural and historical wonders of Johnsonville’s past. Burn off some calories and join us for one mile of adventure for all ages!

Hike will be aproximately 1 mile in length.

Hike is moderate in difficulty with some gradual elevation changes.

Adults and children are welcome.

Free to participate. We recommend bringing a water bottle, good walking shoes and to dress for the weather. Hike will be cancelled in the event of severe weather.
