CALLING ALL PET OWNERS!
Petco Love and PAWS have partnered to offer thousands of FREE cat and dog vaccinations to help prevent the spread of preventable deadly diseases in pets in the community and throughout Middle TN! The free vaccinations include parvovirus and distemper (DAPPv) for dogs and panleukopenia vaccine (HCP) for cats. *Learn more: paws.rutherfordcountytn.gov/news *
Free Pet Vaccine Clinic Details:
•Any pet owner, 18 years of age or older, may bring their cat(s), 9 weeks of age or older and dog(s), 6 weeks of age or older, to receive parvovirus and distemper vaccine (DAPPv) for dogs and panleukopenia vaccine (HCP) for cats, during offered clinic dates. You do not have to be a Rutherford County resident to participate. All pet owners are welcome!
•This clinic ends November 30! The full calendar schedule is available under “events” on the paws.rutherfordcountytn.gov homepage and also pinned to the top of the PAWS Facebook page for reference as well.
•Owners of the pets must be present and complete a liability form and brief survey to receive the service.
•For ease of service, upon arrival pet owners should check-in and complete paperwork before their pet(s) are brought in to receive the vaccines.
•All cats and dogs must be confined securely on leash or in carrier (as an additional, safe option, cats may also be placed in a pillowcase). If you need assistance with confining your pet(s), please contact the shelter or visit the check-in table for assistance.
