Back by popular demand! Metro Parks has agreed to bring back our full moon paddles for 2018!

Here are the rules: Everyone must have previous paddleboarding experience (they don’t teach people in the dark), so if you want to join us in these magical outings, take Intro to SUP with them in advance.

Everyone must have a light on their board. Use of a headlamp is including of the cost if the rental. They’ll have glow sticks and other fun.

They’ll also provide PFDs and leashes, which must be used. Everyone must stay together as a group. Space is limited, so plan ahead.

The August moon is called the “full sturgeon moon” or the “green corn moon.”
