In this class you’ll gain a better understanding of how to carefully decipher messages and to respond appropriately, even in challenging situations. You’ll learn how to replace fearful messages with empathy and validation.

Effective communication with teens can be difficult, especially via texts and social media. Jeffrey Alexander, a crisis team coordinator and communication specialist for the Department of Health, will present methods that will equip you to build trust and rapport.
