Event Description
The James K. Polk Home and Museum will be hosting the second annual event “In Lieu of Flowers” honoring the life and legacy of President James K. Polk.
The event will take place in the gardens of the Polk Home and guests will be treated to cocktails and toasts.
A $25 donation to The Journey Home for James K. Polk project is suggested. Guests are also welcome to dress in funeral attire as the occasion marks the 169th anniversary of Polk’s death.
