Intro to Knitting by Michelle Hughes of Bloomstall
Sunday, December 8th, 4:00-5:30pm
Level 1, Columbia Arts Building
This class is designed for the absolute beginner interested in knitting. We will cover: Backwards e cast-on, longtail cast-on, Knit and Purl Stitches, Garter and Stockinette Stitch Patterns, Binding off, and selecting the right fiber for a project. Join us for a relaxing afternoon of stitching and community banter. If things get rough, we can always break and head upstairs to Bad Idea Brewery for a hot minute! Classes at the CAB are not only providing students with a useful skill, but also connecting members of our community through art. Your artisan instructor, Michelle Hughes is funny and engaging and I am sure that this class will be an absolute pleasure to attend. I’m going!
