Mono Printing with Gel Plates

Saturday, October 26th, 10:30am-2:30pm ( we will break for lunch midday)

Columbia Arts Building, Level 1 – Artisan Instructor Dawna Kinne Magliacano

In this one day workshop, artisan instructor Dawna Kinne Magliacano will guide students through the process of mono printing on a gel plate. Mono printing is a form of printmaking that allows the artists one chance to create a print, unlike most printing processes, each mono printed work will be completely unique.

This process involves layering colors and patterns to create a unique and colorful print. Each student will be able to complete several pieces during this workshop. All materials are provided. The class will break for lunch at the middle point of the class. CAB Cafe is located just above the classroom, on level 2 and offers sandwiches, smoothies, french fries, waffles and more. students will receive 30% off any order!
