Event Description

The Music City Hot Air Balloon Classic will be located at The Fairgrounds in Nashville, this event will include live music, a kids zone, food trucks, craft vendors and a spectacular Hot Air Balloon Glow at dusk.

Kids 7 and under are free. We work to keep this event accessible to families, keeping ticket prices affordable.

Be advised The Fairground may charge $5 for parking.

DO THE BALLOONS LAUNCH?
No. The event is an evening glow, meaning all the balloons remain on the ground during the event allowing guests to get up close and personal with these gentle giants. It’s a pretty awesome sight to see them all lit up in the evening sky.

WHAT TIME WILL THE BALLOONS BE ON DISPLAY?
The balloons begin to inflate at dusk and glow for 45 minutes to an hour.

WHERE DO I PARK AND IS IT FREE?
Parking will be on site, parking is $5 per vehicle and will be paid to the Fairgrounds in cash.

CAN I RIDE THE BALLOONS?
No, tethered rides will not be available.

CAN I BRING CHAIRS AND BLANKETS?
Yes! However, please no tents or objects that would obstruct the view of others.

IS OUTSIDE FOOD PERMITTED?
No outside food or drink are allowed. Exceptions are made for those with special diet restrictions.

IS THE FESTIVAL DOG FRIENDLY?
No, please keep your furry family members at home.

ARE THERE REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES?
NO refunds, No Exceptions. Tickets are transferrable.

The event is rain or shine. NO refunds will be given for this event due to weather. Please understand that wind (in excess of 10 mph), rain, storms, thunder, lightning can impact the event.

At 8am Thursday prior to the event date, a determination will be made whether the event is going forward based on the best weather forecast available. Should the determination be made that the weather is not favorable for the event, a reschedule date will be announced as soon as possible. Your ticket will be honored at the rescheduled date with no further action from the ticketholder. However, refunds will not be issued should ticket holders not be able to attend the rescheduled date.

The weather can change quickly. Should the decision be made to move forward with the scheduled event date, the event is in effect. However, should last minute negative weather impact the event the day of the event all efforts will be made to hold the event within the constraints of the weather. This may mean that hot air balloons cannot participate. No refunds will be given and the event will not be rescheduled. Additionally, no refunds will be given for any temporary evacuation.
