Event Description

Overview This is a decorating class with some more intermediate techniques as well as some painting on cookies. This class is appropriate for those that have taken one of my beginner classes or who have decorated cookies in the past.

Techniques taught will include wet-on dry layering, painting with edible water colors and gold edible highlighter, air brushing and using stencils. Seats are limited to 6 participants for each class to allow me to work with everyone on airbrushing and stenciling techniques.

Class will include demonstrations on stenciling, using the airbrush, making fondant pieces and use of tips for making ruffles and flowers. I’ll demonstrate each step of the way and help with perfecting each of the techniques taught. ThemeParis, ooh la la!

You will airbrush and stencil a variety of plaque cookies. You will also paint an Eiffel tower in edible gold and practice string work, and add piped royal icing flowers and fondant bows. Paris means fashion, so we will decorate a dress form and learn to make ruffle layers. We will also learn how to make ruffle flowers using a variety of piping tips.

You will receive a copy of icing and dough recipes, as well as full instruction packets You will decorate 6 theme cookies All supplies will be provided Seats are each $120.00 per person plus registration fee Want to keep learning? Practice take home sets will also be available for purchase!

The sets will include cookie theme from class, a scribe, two bags of icing mix and piping bags. Practice sets can be purchased separately for $30 each plus tax. I will also have Essential Tools kits available for purchase. These sets include a scribe, piping bags, and two bags of icing for $20 plus tax.
