Event Description

Back by popular demand, this outdoor concert experience features the most famous people you’ve never heard of – the songwriters behind some of the most popular country music today.

Join us for an evening of song and symphony on Cheekwood’s gorgeous Swan Lawn featuring the critically acclaimed show Music City Hit-Makers and backed by the Music City Symphony.

Hit-Makers Chris DeStefano, Tom Douglas, and Josh Osborne will perform the chart-topping hits that they’ve written, such as Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me,” Kacey Musgraves’ “Merry Go Round,” and Luke Bryan’s “That’s My Kind of Night.” Be sure to show up early to mark your turf on the swan lawn and to catch the opening set presented by BMI; Emily Shackleton James, Josh Kerr, and Parker Welling who have penned hits for Lauren Alaina, Kelsea Ballerini, and Russell Dickerson.

**For the enjoyment of all, lawn chairs must have low backs and legs shorter than 10 inches (so that a basketball can’t roll under). Outside alcohol, tables, grills, athletic equipment, (thrown objects), pets (unless registered service animals), fireworks or open flames, and professional photography equipment are prohibited.
