Spring Hill Turkey Burn Run Has Moved!

All Half Marathon and 5K Participates gets Finisher medals.

Half Marathon/5k/Fun Run

Tennessee Children’s Home is having Spring Hill’s 3rd Annual Turkey Burn Half Marathon on November 30, 2019.   We are very excited to fill a community need and fund-raise. We will also have a 5K and a Fun Run for the kiddos. Come run the 5K with Sonic the Milk Shake and Tater Tot – the energy is infectious! The course will be multi-surface, gravel, asphalt, and cement.

Come enjoy a beautiful run through non-congested General Motors property. The run begins at the city of Spring Hill’s Northfield and follows along Donald F Ephlin Parkway with some up and backs. Enjoy a close-up view of historical Haynes Haven.  Another change this year is Nashville Striders will be our race management team. Tennessee Children’s Home is looking forward to growing this relationship and event.

The Spring Hill Turkey Burn course is developing into one of the city’s biggest attractions. We may get the course certified, we will keep you updated.

We do our best to hold our races to the highest quality standards, from start to finish, course design, accuracy, barriers, water stations and running course will be intently laid out for your safety. Safety is our main concern.

PRE-PACKET PICK UP:

Friday, November 29, 2019

Beat the crowds by picking up your race bib, goodie bag, and shirt the day before the race. Registrants are allowed to pick up materials for friends and family members with a copy of their ID (a picture of the ID via phone is allowed).

Rules:

• Half Marathon walkers are welcome with a 4-hour time limit*.
• No dogs allowed
• Strollers welcome for the 5K. (Please Remember this course will be multi-surface, hilly, gravel, asphalt, and cement.)
• Gear check will be available.

*Please note that a 15-minute mile pace or faster is required for both the 5k and Half Marathon race distances. A 15 min. mile pace is roughly four miles per hour, equivalent to a very brisk walk. If you fall below this pace, the race organizers can no longer guarantee course support. Aid Stations, medical support, portable toilets, and road closures will begin to become unavailable to participants. The local police and race organizers will ask you to reroute to a shorter version of the course or move up onto the sidewalk where you will be required to obey regular traffic laws.
