Event Description

Late summer brings super sweet fun for all that will have you grinning ear to ear! Test your skills and win prizes in the Corn Eating, Corn Shucking and Sweet Corn Selfie Competitions. Plus we will bring the Splash Zone back for all to beat the heat and cool off in our splash pad, bubble blast pool and inflatable water slides!

We’ll be serving up everybody’s seasonal favorite – fresh and super sweet corn on the cob, dripping with warm butter and covered in your favorite flavored seasoning for only $3 per ear. Fresh picked sweet corn available for purchase – great for grilling up for your next summertime party.

CORN EATING and CORN SHUCKING CONTESTS

• • CORN EATING – 12:00 PM
    Contestants can belly up to the table to nibble down as much corn as possible during our Corn Eating Contest.
  • CORN SHUCKING – 2:30 PM
    It will be “Shuck and Awe” as contestants let the husks and silks fly in our Corn Shucking Contest.
• Contest participation is FREE with full-fare paid admission and for Season Pass Members.
• Each contest will have four divisions: Ages 6 and Under; Ages 7-9; Ages 10-13; Adult Division Ages 14 and Older.
• Timed contests are one minute for the youngest age division and three minutes for all others.
• Prizes are awarded to each division winner. All children’s division prizes valued at over $50.00 each and a $50.00 Cash Prize awarded to Adult Division (Ages 14 and Older) Winners.
• Contest Registration is on-site the day of the event.
• Contests are limited to 20 entries per age division.
• Contest locations announced on-site the day of the event.

  SWEET CORN SELFIE CONTEST

  • Contestants can visit our photo booth throughout the day during the Sweet Corn Festival to show us your corniest grin. Photos will be posted on Lucky Ladd Farms Facebook page. The contest will remain online with open voting through September 15. The contestants picture which receives the most likes will be announced as the winner. Contestants are encourages to tag and share their pictures with friends and family to get more likes. Winner to be announced September 16.

  • A $100.00 Cash Prize awarded to each division winner.

  • There is no limit on the number of participants for this contest.
