Tennesseans and WWII
Join Tennessee State Parks and the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park on July 12th, 13th, and 14th as we present living history programs focused on honoring and remembering the sacrifices Tennesseans made 75 years ago during the Second World War.
Hear the stories of how Tennesseans were spread across the globe in 1944, from the islands of the Pacific to the beaches of Normandy. Learn about how men and women served and sacrificed on the home front, working to support the arsenal of democracy.
Living history programs will take place on Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the WWII Memorial. Please join us to hear these incredible stories about Tennesseans as we work to keep their memory alive.
