Public libraries are public spaces open to all who enter and wish to access the rich and diverse resources they house.   Learn how to develop inclusive policies, guidelines, and practices to serve a diverse community of users in a safe and welcoming environment.   We will learn tips and strategies for working with patrons who are in transition,  are seeking legal assistance and those who may benefit from services provided by state agencies serving the aging and disabled.  Learn how your library can partner with these agencies to provide services and programs  to meet your community’s needs and interests. Come prepared to share your questions and engage in conversation on how to meet  the challenges and opportunities for inclusive library service for various populations.
