Event Description

This is a three-day event to honor our veterans for their service and sacrifice, which has kept us free as a nation. The theme this year is “The Military Oath to Protect the Constitution.”

Our founding documents will be the centerpiece of the event: The Mayflower Compact; Declaration of Independence’ Constitution, and Original Bill of Rights.

We will have historical posters depicting our founding as a nation, including the Crossing of the Delaware, the signing of the Constitution, and many more. Veterans will be available to tell their military stories to the public as part of a “Living History”, and they will have personal displays describing their military service. The Tennessee National Guard will be attending in full uniform, and providing a vehicle and a weapons display.
