Event Description

The Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball will hold its end of year tournament, The Sulphur Dell Cup, at Rippavilla Plantation on Saturday, September the 8th and Sunday, September the 9th.

TAoVBB is a group of 12 teams (8 in Middle TN, 2 in Knoxville, and 2 in Chattanooga) that play Civil War Era Base Ball. This is a recreation of the game before gloves were used when the sport was in it’s earliest stages. Every year the Sulphur Dell Cup decides the Association champion and this year The Quicksteps and Rippavilla have been selected as the host team/site.
