Leadership Team Named for Spring Hill’s First Skilled Nursing Community

Center to Open April 2018

Sharon Warren, NHA, and Suzanne Morrison, RN, CHPN, have been named as executive director and director of nursing, respectively, for The Reserve at Spring Hill.

After many years of working in long-term care throughout the United States, Executive Director Sharon Warren has the opportunity to lead a center in the community in which she lives. “Spring Hill is growing exponentially and needs more medical facilities to take care of residents, especially seniors. As the first center to offer skilled nursing care, in addition to a medical model of assisted living, we know seniors will benefit from locally offered care,” stated Warren.

Designed to accommodate both assisted living and skilled nursing, The Reserve at Spring Hill has a focus on providing rapid recovery following a hospital stay. “Our cardiac, pulmonary, and orthopedic programs have one main focus, providing high levels of care so that residents can return to their home as soon as possible,” said Director of Nursing Suzanne Morrison, RN, CHPN.

Morrison has served in leadership roles for hospice care centers and cardiology practices for many years. As a Registered Nurse and Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse, Suzanne’s experience in cardiac care and hospice will benefit the residents of The Reserve at Spring Hill.

Serving as a former vice-president at a large long-term care provider for the last several years, Warren is not a stranger to meeting the needs of residents and families when a loved one is going through recovery at a skilled nursing center.

Warren and Morrison are gearing up to staff the new community that is expected to open in early April. The Reserve at Spring Hill is currently hiring Certified Nursing Aides (CNAs), Registered Nurses (RNs), environmental service team members, and dietary staff members.

The Reserve at Spring Hill is scheduled to open in April 2018 and will feature 30 assisted living apartments, for seniors who desire the benefits of living on a campus with 24/7 nurses on staff, and 68 spacious, private skilled nursing and long-term care suites. The Reserve at Spring Hill will have little resemblance to a traditional nursing home. This modern-day community will cater to the needs of seniors both in design and care for skilled nursing, rapid recovery rehabilitation, and short-term rehab therapy. In addition to long-term care, clinical programming will focus on orthopedic recovery and cardiopulmonary conditions such as CHF and COPD. Reservations are currently being accepted for assisted living and private pay long-term care. Contact Clinical Liaison Heidi Wolaver at (931) 698-0136 for more information about the community.
