Assistant Superintendent of Operations for Maury County Public Schools Stan Breeden was honored by Trane last month for World Facility Management Day with the Comprehensive Energy Solutions Recognizing Award.
Breeden was among only 10 highlighted by the Heating & Air Conditioning Services & Systems company for the Facility Management Day. In 2016, Breeden worked to become credentialed as a Facility Management Professional by the International Facility Management Association. The Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification is a program that teaches and tests the knowledge demanded in the operations and maintenance field, as well as the project management field.
Breeden has worked for MCPS since January 2014 as head of operations for all school campuses. He leads the departments of maintenance, construction and renovation, school nutrition, transportation and school safety, and technology. He was presented the World Facility Management highlight by Randy Mauldin, Business Development, Comprehensive Solutions by Trane. Breeden said his goal for occupants in school buildings is that they never have to think about facilities issues.
