Spring Hill Lawn & Garden Show at Rippavilla Plantation

Spring Hill Lawn & Garden Show at Rippavilla is set for Saturday & Sunday, March 25 & 26, 2017.

Sponsored in part by Maury County Visitors Bureau, Premier Chiropractic and Spring Hill Parks and Recreation.

The event will be held in The Barn at Rippavilla. The first 500 visitors will receive a free Virginia Christmas Pine seedling. Hands-on activities will be provided for children as well.

Spend the day attending various demonstrations from Beekeeping 101 to Outdoor Smartphone Photograph. If you are shopping for a new lawn tractor then TriGreen will be your favorite booth.

Saturday’s schedule:

10:00 a.m. —– Sow What? by Denna Trimble and Cynthia Killets, Maury County Master Gardeners

11:00 a.m. —– Garden Techniques for Self-sufficiency by David Townsend

Noon —– Smartphone Photography by Greg Bearden

2:00 p.m. —– Beekeeping 101 by Gwynne Evans

Sunday’s schedule:

Noon —– Bugs are good! —– by Stephanie Haseltine, Six Forty Homestead

Antique & vintage dealers with yard and garden decor will also be available.ξ Pappy’s Porch will be on site serving the best hamburgers, BBQ sandwiches with their famous lemonade. Spring Hill Bakery located in the gift shop will also be open.

Admission:

Lawn & Garden show only – $5 for ages 13; $2 for ages 12

Lawn & Garden show plus mansion tour – $10 for ages 13 and up, $7

Free for ages 5 and under
