The wait is almost over! The Thompson’s Station Farmer’s Market will begin it’s season on Wednesday, May 11th with much celebration and hoopla!
In addition to the fresh produce, jams and jellies, jewelry, crafts and more that local farmers and artisans will offer at the farmer’s market, the opening will also be host to the Homestead in Bloom Festival.
Market goers will be able to experience the beautiful grounds at the manor, enjoy featured interactive demos and a fresh flower boutique!ξ The market is free and will be open to the community from 10AM-2PM, but the festivities don’t end there!
The awesome sounds of the well known Henningsens, will perform a live concert from 6PM-8PM that night, showcasing a sound that is fresh and vibrant. From touring with Brad Paisley to writing hit songs for The Band Perry, this country trio is sure to impress.
Proceeds from tickets sold will go to the Land Trust of Tennessee. In addition, the Thompson’s Station Farmer’s Market has partnered with the UT Extension in Williamson County to hold a Trash 2 Treasure contest. Voting is $5 and benefits the Land Trust of Tennessee!
