King’s Creek Golf Club in Spring Hill will be the venue for the Maury Regional Health Care Foundation’s 17th annual Tony Starks Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, September 12, according to Foundation Executive Director Joe Kilgore. Proceeds from the tournament allow the Foundation to provide assistance in the form of community health initiatives, cancer patient services, transportation, medication assistance and more.
The tournament is a four-player scramble with up to 64 teams, divided into morning and afternoon tee times. Morning tee-off is at 8 a.m. and the afternoon tee-off is at 1:30 p.m. Prizes will be given for first and second place in three flights, closest to the hole, longest drive and a putting contest. In addition, there will be a hole-in-one grand prize and a variety of door prizes. A rain date of Monday, September 19 has been reserved.
Participation opportunities remain available and include team and hole sponsorships, as well as other levels of commitment.
“We welcome those who want to participate in the golf tournament with a four-person team, as well as businesses that would like to support the event as a sponsor,” said Kilgore. “We want to say a special thanks to tournament sponsors Maury Regional Medical Center and HFR Designs, master’s sponsor American Constructors and gold sponsors Medline, Morrison Healthcare and Vizient for their support.”
Those interested in entering a team should register at MauryRegionalFoundation.com or call 931.380.4075. The cost for a foursome is $1,000, which includes one mulligan for each player and participation in the putting contest.
Sponsorships ranging from $250 to $2,500 are still available for those who want marketing exposure at this event. Visit MauryregionalFoundation.com or contact Foundation Executive Director Joe Kilgore at 931.380.4075 to discuss sponsorship opportunities.
